Til Our Particles Scatter and Conceptual Birdbath

I’ve been working since early last year on a new album called Til Our Particles Scatter. It’s a bit of a departure from my previous releases, in that it’s a rock/pop album and every track is a collaboration with a vocalist! Songwriting is complete and I’m just coordinating vocals for the remaining tracks at this point. I released a double-A-side single last fall as a preview of it, Your Sound / Dud Gold, featuring rachie and Renko on vocals. Your Sound also has a music video!

Meanwhile, I’m putting out some new old music soon. A lot of new old music. Three and a half hours of new old music. It’s called Conceptual Birdbath, and it’s 100 tracks that never made it to any of my albums or OST releases. Album outtakes, sketches of tracks that were never developed further, tracks I wrote as samples to use in other tracks, tracks from cancelled projects, one-off commissions, and more. Mostly sourced from the 2010s onwards, but there are a few earlier tracks as well. All mastered to fit together side-by-side as a coherent listen, sequenced as four 25-song “discs” (it’s a digital release, but pretend), each disc a grab-bag of genres and surprises. It also comes with info on every track’s origins and inspirations. Here’s a condensed preview of Conceptual Birdbath.
